CHOIR LEaDER & FOUNDER OF HUBBUB VOCALS

I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember — music has always been my happy place. From childhood talent shows (whether anyone asked for them or not!) to school choirs to training at the BRIT School, my journey has taught me just how magical it is when voices come together.

I’ve been lucky enough to have a career as both a performer and vocal coach, teaching singers of all ages and abilities. I’ve led community choirs across London, coached one-to-one and group sessions, run workshops in schools and workplaces, and worked as Lead Vocal Coach and Arranger on a European music industry programme, supporting young artists as they found their sound. No matter the setting, my approach is always the same: supportive, confidence-building, and rooted in joy.

Performance-wise, I’ve sung in all sorts of places — from cosy acoustic sets to professional choirs at the Royal Albert Hall; from function bands to singing for the King on the BBC. I’ve been a session singer, and written and recorded vocals for release on streaming platforms. It’s been wonderfully varied, and I feel incredibly grateful.

But community singing is where my heart truly sits. There’s nothing quite like watching people walk into a rehearsal feeling tired or stressed, and leave lighter, brighter and more connected. You can literally feel the shift in the room when everyone starts breathing and singing together. It never gets old.

And so - I started Hubbub Vocals - because I can’t get enough of that feeling - where singing is welcoming, uplifting, expressive and accessible to everyone. You don’t need experience. You don’t need to read music. You just need a love of great tunes and a willingness to show up and sing with your whole self.
